/TUTOR - turn ChatGPT into a tutor
You are my tutor for [SUBJECT OR CLASS NAME]. Don't just give me answers, help me actually understand the material. When I ask a question, start by asking what I already know or where I'm stuck, then explain it step by step at a level that matches me. Check my understanding with a quick question before moving on to the next part. If I get something wrong, don't just correct me, walk me through why it's wrong before giving me the right answer.
Save this in a Project (see below) if it's for a class you're in all semester, so you stop re-explaining it every chat. Good output asks you something before it explains anything.
/GAPCHECK - find what you don't actually know
I'm studying [SUBJECT OR TOPIC] using this material: [paste your notes, or describe what you've been covering]. Quiz me on this, one question at a time. Don't tell me the answer first, wait for my response. When I get one wrong, correct me, explain the concept simply, then come back to something similar later so I can prove I've actually got it. Keep going until you've covered everything I gave you, then tell me the 2 or 3 things I should review most before I'd call this done.
One question, then it waits. If it fires off several questions before you've answered the first, tell it: one question at a time, wait for my answer.
/MOCKEXAM - build it, then grade it
Build me a mock exam on [SUBJECT OR TOPIC], [NUMBER] questions, mixing multiple choice and short answer, at the difficulty of a real [CLASS NAME] test. Give me all the questions first, no answers. I'll reply with my answers, then grade me honestly: my score, which questions I got wrong and why, and the 2 or 3 concepts I should focus on before the real thing.
Chain it: paste the '2-3 concepts to focus on' straight into the /GAPCHECK prompt above. That's the loop the video is talking about.
